With a background in energy management, construction management, biology and technology, Scott is well equipped to manage modern land development, construction, and existing facilities retrofitting projects. Scott has founded and led two corporations. On commercial building construction projects in the range of $200K - $80M, he has served as energy management and control systems engineer, and construction project manager.

Bryan Ottinger, Project Manager

With a background in project management, financial sales, and logistics, Bryan is well equipped to manage modern land development, construction, and existing facilities retrofitting LEED projects for Emerald Impact. Bryan owned and operated a rental property management company for 12 years handling lease sales, facilities management and maintenance, general accounting and advertising. For 10 years worked in all aspects of warehousing in a 2.5 million square foot facility for General Motors. Bryan has 6 years of estate and financial planning experience servicing over 400 clients and held his public notary, life and long term care insurance licenses and Series 7 and 63 licenses. Project management includes raw land developments comprising of over 200 total acres which includes acquisition and management of excavation, storm water/erosion management, infrastructure development, manage site crews, installation of PV solar arrays and powerhouse components and worked with county planners and engineers.

Skip Andrews, Director of Web Business and Marketing

Skip Andrews brings extensive expertise in large-scale global software development, multicultural internet usability testing, and international website localization. He has extensive management experience in the biotechnology and in mobile communication-technology industries. Prior to joining Emerald Impact, Skip Andrews was an Engineering Software Development Manager at Nokia Mobile Phones in charge of over 200 design engineers working on User Interface design and embedded phone software. Prior to Nokia, he has performed many roles including: Chief Operating Officer at Intuitive Design Group, Vice President of Strategic Planning at the Institute for Leadership Studies, User Experience Engineering Director at Stellcom Inc., and Director of Information Services at ADcom Information Services. He has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Humanistic Studies. He currently teaches at San Diego State University College of Extended Studies, and has taught many online and local community college courses.


Ty Pike, Facilities Project Manager
Ty Pike has a broad background in managing facilities. He negotiated and maintained efficient contracts with vendors via annual bid proposals. Generating and maintaining facilities budget of $800,000 to $1,000,000 annually, Ty managed various tenant improvement projects up to 200,000 square feet (Redmond, WA 30,000 sf, Santa Clara, CA 10,000 sf, Huntsville, AL 50,000 sf; and San Diego, CA 200,000 sf. Ty supervised, mentored, and trained employees. He managed hazardous waste disposal, and monitored monthly Safety Committee inspections and meetings. Ty planned and coordinated facility projects in-house verifying outside contractors. Ty also maintains drawings on CAD.
